Laptop and Desktop Condition GuideOpen Box (Like New)
These are manufacturer returns. They could be the result of cancelled orders or overstock items. These products will be in “Like-New Condition”. They can be in the original manufacturer’s packaging or in a generic brown box. The contents have been removed to verify condition. You will receive all, part or none of the original ship group. Open Box Units are sold at heavily discounted prices as compared to new with absolutely no compromise on quality or performance. Open Box products do not include a Dell Warranty
Factory Refurbished (Pristine)
These products have been professionally renewed and restored by the original manufacturer or an approved 3rd Party Refurbisher. Some Factory Refurbished products will be cosmetically pristine while others may display extremely minor cosmetic blemishes. Factory Refurbished Laptops units will have no screen blemishes. Factory Refurbished products are individually boxed and will ship with a new or refurbished battery, AC adapter and a genuine Windows Operating System.
Renewed (A) – Excellent
These products have been professionally renewed and will be in excellent condition. Some Renewed (A) units will be cosmetically pristine while others may have light scratches or other minor blemishes. Some Laptops may exhibit some shiny areas around the keyboard but the keyboard keys themselves will be in excellent condition or new. Renewed (A) Laptop units will have none or minor screen blemishes . Renewed (A) products will ship with a new or refurbished battery, AC adapter and a genuine Windows Operating System.
Renewed (B) – Very Good
These products have been professionally renewed and will be in very good condition. Renewed (B) units will have some light scratches and other minor blemishes. Some Laptops may exhibit some shiny areas around the keyboard but the keyboard keys themselves will be in excellent condition or new. Renewed (B) Laptop units will have some screen blemishes. Renewed (B) products will ship with a new or refurbished battery, AC adapter and a genuine Windows Operating System.
